Educational Opportunities in Arizona

 

Several accredited educational institutions offer Radiologic Technologist and Practical Technologist
curriculum around the State of Arizona. Some offer programs in other areas of diagnostic imaging such as
Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Gateway Community College - Phoenix


GateWay Community College offers a Medical Radiography Associate of Applied Science Degree
Program as well as Nuclear Medicine Technology, and Diagnostic
Medical Ultrasound Programs. GateWay Community College also has
Certificate programs in MRI, CT and PET. The Medical Radiography
program also offers an Advanced Placement course for licensed
PT (Practical Technologists or the limited license technologist).
In addition to Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, we also offer a

Pima Community College


Pima Community College offers a Radiologic Technologists Associate of Applied Science Degree Program
as well as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certificate Program. Pima Community College is comprised of six
campuses located in the Tucson, Arizona area.
The requirement for entering the MRI program includes one year experience in MRI, CT, or US within the last five years.
